NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Chapter 1 Returns

Battle Royale
Nine Tails Event
Nine Tails returns, and it’s about to shake up the battlefield again!
“The Nine Tails is back! Before each match starts, it might transform the battlefield with its power. During this returning collaboration, players can also control Nine Tails and unleash Tailed Beast Bomb to wreak havoc on their enemies!”
- Nine Tails may trigger one of the following events at the start of the match:
- Nine Tails hits the plane with a Tailed Beast Bomb and sets it on fire. Once the countdown ends, all players will be forced to eject.
- Nine Tails blasts open the Arsenals, allowing players to enter and obtain high-tier loot without an Arsenal Key. (Bermuda only)
- Nine Tails strikes the ground, leaving behind a crater filled with loot (Bermuda only).
- In midmatch, Sharingan: Control will appear on the map. Players can capture it and choose a target area to blast on the map.
- Once released, a danger warning will appear in the selected area for 5s.
- Nine Tails fires a Tailed Beast Bomb at the target area, dealing 60 explosive DMG to players within a 100m radius.
- After the explosion, 8-10 flame spots, each with a 4m radius, will randomly appear in the area. They last for 5-10s and deal 5 DMG every 0.5s to players inside. After leaving a flame spot, players continue to take 1 DMG every second for 2s.
Hidden Leaf Village
Return to the familiar Hidden Leaf Village!
“The Hidden Leaf Village is open once again. Meet up with teammates before the match starts, enjoy a steaming bowl of ramen, or hop on the swing at the Ninja Academy for some special memories.”
- Added the Ninja Academy building.
- Added an interactable swing in front of the Ninja Academy. Using it grants a permanent 5% movement speed boost.
- The Hidden Leaf Village will also serve as the default cabin on all maps.
Reanimation Revival Points
Bring back your fallen allies with Reanimation Jutsu!
“Revival Points receive a brand-new Reanimation Jutsu makeover. While a Revival Point is being captured, stone coffins will rise from the ground, allowing eliminated teammates to return to the battlefield.”
- Once the Revival Point has been fully captured, fallen teammates will be revived from the coffins instead of parachuting back onto the battlefield. Revived players will receive brief protection and the corresponding revival supplies.
Gamakichi Summoning
Find the scrolls and summon an old friend!
“Find the summoning scrolls scattered across the map and summon Gamakichi to receive battle supplies.”
- Gamakichi summoning scrolls will appear across the map. Interact with them to get loot.

Clash Squad
An epic clash of ninjas!
“The NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collaboration isn’t just for BR. CS is also getting a ninja-themed makeover, bringing the collaboration into every corner of the mode, from the CS Store and airdrops to the battlefield itself. Every decision could turn into a clash of ninjutsu.”
- Ninjutsu and kunai will be available for purchase in the CS Store.
- In the first round, pistols will be replaced by shurikens.
- Cyber Airdrops will be replaced by Ninjutsu Scroll Airdrops.
- The Hidden Leaf Village will be added to the map pool.

Ninjutsu Skills & Ninja Tools
Ninjutsu Skill Cards
Master iconic ninjutsu and use Chakra to dominate the battlefield
“Familiar ninjutsu have returned! Create chaos with Fireball Jutsu, change the terrain with Water Dragon Jutsu, disrupt your enemies with Great Breach, or charge straight into enemies with Rasengan or Chidori; the choice is yours. Don’t forget to pick up the new ninjutsu skill, 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation, and unleash its absolute defense.”
- Players can pick up the following ninjutsu skill cards in Battle Royale:
- 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation (new): Dashes forward and creates a fast-rotating chakra shield around the user for 3.5s. The shield knocks back enemies in range, deals 25 damage, while also absorbing bullets and deflecting some throwables.
- Fireball Jutsu: Exhales a fireball that explodes upon impact and deals 30 DMG within a 4m range. It also burns enemies and Gloo Walls in range, dealing 5 DMG/s for 5s.
- Water Dragon Jutsu: Exhales a water ball that explodes upon impact and deals 30 DMG within a 5m range. It also creates a brief view-blocking effect.
- Great Breach: Exhales air blasts that explode upon impact and deal 30 DMG within a 4m range, slow enemies by 50%, and reduce their rate of fire by 20%.
- Rasengan: Dashes forward and deals 70 DMG to the enemy hit, reducing their movement speed by 50% and rate of fire by 20%.
- Chidori: Dashes forward at high speed and deals 100 DMG to the enemy hit, disabling their ability to deploy Gloo Walls and use the minimap for 3s.
- Cherry Blossom Clash: Dashes forward, dealing 50 DMG to the enemy hit and knocking them back.
Shuriken & Kunai
Sometimes a blade is more lethal than any bullet
“Shuriken and Kunai are back as secondary weapons! Fast, agile, and infused with elemental power, they bring excitement and unpredictability to every match.”
- Light Shuriken: Optimal for close-range combat. Each throw launches 3 shurikens consecutively, each dealing 17 to 28 DMG (DMG decays beyond a certain distance). Switch to another mode to fire 3 shurikens simultaneously.
- Heavy Shuriken: Optimal for mid-range combat. Each throw launches 1 high-speed shuriken that deals 30 to 60 DMG (DMG decays beyond a certain distance).
- Fiery Kunai: Explodes after a short delay upon impact, dealing 50 to 80 DMG to enemies within 5m. Affected enemies then take 10 burn DMG and lose 10% armor durability per second for 3s.
- Lightning Kunai: Explodes after a short delay upon impact, preventing affected enemies from using throwables or their minimap for 3s.
- Wind Kunai: Explodes after a short delay upon impact, reducing the movement speed of enemies within range by 20% to 50% for 3s. The closer an enemy is to the center of the explosion, the stronger the slowing effect.
Battle Royale
New Random Events
Ready for fun and challenging new random events?
“To bring players richer and more varied experiences, brand-new random events are coming to the game. Adapt to the ever-changing battlefield and find your own path to victory!”
Available Upon Patch Release:

- Peak Mania (Bermuda Only): More SMGs, shotguns and melee weapons will appear in Peak.

On Oct 1, a new batch of random events will be added:
- Airdrops? Meteors!: All regular airdrops will crash down as meteors! (NEW)
- Black Friday: Vending Machines are selling more items with discounts!
Airdrop Adjustments
As airdrops come, the rhythm of battle shifts.
“The number and loot rewards of regular Airdrops, Defense Airdrops, and Ultra Airdrops have been comprehensively adjusted. Warnings are now easier to spot, drop locations are more spread out, and map indicators are clearer. Whether you plan your route in advance or contest resources on the fly, every airdrop could become the turning point of a match.”
Regular Airdrop
- Regular Airdrops will begin dropping around 160s into the match. A total of 4 will appear per match.
- Improved their minimap indicators, light beams, and map markers. These indicators will disappear after an airdrop has remained in the Out-of-Zone for 45s.
- The map marker will disappear 10s after the main reward is collected, or immediately once all items have been collected.
Defense Airdrop
- Two Defense Airdrops will land simultaneously 410s into the match. The amount and quality of loot inside have been increased, providing enough supplies for an entire squad.
- Enhanced the visual effects and deployment alerts for Defense Airdrops. Their light beams are now more prominent, and a new UI alert will notify players while they are being deployed.
Ultra Airdrop
- One Ultra Airdrop will land around 410s into the match. Only 1 will appear per match. Successfully capturing it still grants Lv. 5 armor and revives eliminated teammates.
Device System Adjustment
More device types, more tactical possibilities
“Previously, players could carry only one device, while passive devices like the Jammer, which cannot be activated manually, added complexity and disrupted match flow. In this patch, devices are split into active and passive categories, and players can carry one of each for more tactical combinations on the battlefield!”
- Active Device: Active Skill Card, Launch Pad, Supply Box, UAV-Lite, Mini Turret, and Portal Go.
- Passive Device: Dragon Sprinters, Jammer, and Horizaline (new).
New Follow Mechanic
Line up, the train is leaving!
“See a player train nearby? Hop aboard! Use the new Follow mechanic to start a train, or tap the follow button to automatically join the nearest line and set off together!”
- Starting a Train:
- When a joinable player is nearby, the follow button will appear on the HUD. Tap it to move automatically and join the nearest train.
- Use the Train emote from the emote wheel to transform and enter Train mode.
- The train leader will receive a flag marker visible only to themselves and their teammates. Enemies cannot see it.
- On Social Island, one player must first become the train leader before others can join.
- Staying in Line:
- Entering combat or interacting with certain objects will break the train. This includes switching weapons, scoping in, firing, using throwables or certain skills, taking damage, being knocked down or eliminated, using vehicles, jumping over windows, and using portals.
- Using Med Kits or Inhalers, jumping, using emotes, or taking Out-of-Zone damage will not break the train.
- If an interrupting action affects only one player in the train, only that player will leave. Everyone else will remain in line and continue following automatically.
Other Adjustments
- While parachuting after being revived, players can preview and switch weapons before landing.
- Players can now help teammates up without interrupting Med Kit use.
- Added new prompts for the Team Revival mechanic.
- Optimized how recommended drop points are displayed for areas outside the plane’s direct flight path.
- Optimized downhill movement for a smoother experience.
- Optimized Gloo Wall VFX on slides.
- Optimized the Vending Machine interface with clearer item details and special-item indicators.
- The purchase button will remain visible on the HUD when players enter a Vending Machine’s interaction area while using an Inhaler or Energizer.
- Added new target-marking voice lines that vary based on the distance to the marked enemy.
- Solo Revival window at match start: 540s → 410s.
- Adjusted the purchase time limit for Info Boxes.
- Optimized the BR map. Revival Points and Vending Machines are now displayed on the map while players are in the cabin, helping them make better drop decisions.
- Added Coin Jars to ground loot.
- Adjusted the Safe Zone shrink timing on Solara to align with other maps.
- Weapons can now break arsenal glass, allowing players to enter directly.
Clash Squad
New Throwables in CS
CS throwables are getting a complete upgrade: block routes with fire, detect and track enemies, and explore new ways to use smoke. Get ready for more tactical battles!
“This patch adds Flame Grenades and Sonar Grenades to CS and adjusts Smoke Grenades. With a wider selection of throwables, we aim to bring more tactical decisions and combat variety to every match, opening up new possibilities for attacking, advancing, defending, and gathering intel.”
- Flame Grenade: Creates a burning area upon landing that lasts for 6s and expands over 1s. Enemies inside take 16 DMG and 10% armor durability damage every 0.5s. Allied players caught in the flames also take damage, receiving 8 DMG and 10% armor durability damage every 0.5s. The flames also melt Gloo Walls, dealing 100 DMG every 0.5s.
- Sonar Grenade: Scans enemies within a 10m radius and reveals their locations for 3s. It can be used to gather intel, locate enemies behind cover, and create opportunities for teammates to attack.
- Smoke Grenade: Its smoke effect now matches the Smoke Vortex available in the Tactical Market.
Other Adjustments
- Optimized the minimaps for Kalahari and Purgatory in CS mode. They now display area layouts in greater detail, helping players better understand the battlefield.
- Removed narrow railings from certain buildings on Kalahari to prevent enemies behind them from occasionally being untargetable. A new piece of cover has also been added to Mammoth to make CS engagements more balanced for both sides.
- Adjusted the outer edges of certain buildings on Bermuda. Players can no longer move or shoot from these edges.

Character Rework and Balance Adjustments
Kenta Rework
A complete skill overhaul: a tempest that passes through Gloo Walls enables rapid teleportation, while Shield Point-based damage reduction strengthens his defenses, turning Kenta into a versatile fighter who balances offense and defense!
“As the battlefield has evolved, Kenta’s original skill has struggled to keep up in both combat effectiveness and overall feel. This rework gives him more flexible offensive and mobility tools while retaining some defensive strength after he engages, establishing a clearer tactical identity on the field.”
- Unleashes a fast-moving, swirling tempest that passes through Gloo Walls and lasts 8s, dealing 25 DMG to enemies hit. While the tempest is active, tap the skill again to teleport to its current location and obtain a shield for 5s with 20% DMG reduction. The tempest disappears after the user teleports. Cooldown: 45s.
Morse
More ways to counter stealth, a wider counterplay range, and more room to react!
“Morse’s pick rate has continued to rise thanks to his strong flanking and kiting capabilities, which put significant pressure on opponents. To provide more counterplay and maintain a fairer combat experience, we’re reducing his close-range effectiveness and stealth duration.”
- Skill Adjustments:
- Aim Assist triggering range during stealth: 4m → 12m.
- Max. stealth duration: 15s → 13s.
Luna
Reduced rate of fire bonus while preserving movement speed conversion for better balance
“Luna has been effective in too many combat scenarios, making her generally too strong. To improve character balance and create a fairer combat environment, we’re slightly reducing her power so she remains useful without overshadowing other characters.”
- Skill Adjustments:
- Rate of fire bonus: 8% → 5%.
- Unchanged: converts rate of fire into movement speed after landing a hit.
Wukong
Reduced cooldown for more frequent use and opportunities to hide and ambush enemies
“Wukong’s current cooldown limits his opportunities to contribute during a match. To let him engage more consistently and create more tactical openings, we’re reducing his skill cooldown.”
- Skill Adjustments:
- Skill cooldown for transformation: 90s → 75s.
Super Bonfire (Tactical Market in CS)
Reduced healing and rate of fire bonuses for a more balanced experience
“When combined with certain character skills, Super Bonfire’s healing and rate of fire bonuses can become overly powerful. Even on their own, these effects allow players to stay in combat longer while maintaining greater firepower. To prevent a single item from providing excessive benefits and improve Tactical Market balance, we’re slightly reducing its strength.”
- Detailed Adjustments:
- EP recovery per second: 20 → 10.
- Firing interval reduction: 15% → 8%.
Other Adjustments
- Santino: Fixed an issue where a small collision volume could cause players to enter unintended areas, become stuck, or exploit glitches.
- Nero: Fixed an issue that could cause the plushie to become stuck in the ground.
- Jammer (device): Updated its description, improved its ability to counter detection skills and items, and added feedback when it successfully blocks enemy detection.
- Skyler: Extended the visibility range of his skill effects to match their actual range of over 100m.

Weapon and Balance
New Weapons
Four brand-new weapons will arrive with the next Clash Squad season on OCT 1. Each features unique firing mechanics and a distinct recoil pattern, offering players more varied combat options.
M7
A high-damage assault rifle that rewards good recoil control
The M7 is a fully automatic assault rifle with a new recoil system. Unlike weapons that use the existing bullet spread mechanic, the M7’s recoil steadily pulls the aim upward while firing. Players can control the recoil to land consistent shots or use the upward kick to line up headshots. With high damage and solid accuracy, the M7 is built for mid-to-long-range combat.
Skorp
An SMG with a high rate of fire and armor penetration
The Skorp uses a recoil system similar to the M7. Its high rate of fire and armor penetration keep it effective even in the late game.
RPK
A light machine gun (LMG) featuring the new recoil system
Featuring the new recoil system, the fully automatic RPK combines machine-gun firepower with assault-rifle mobility. It remains versatile in close-range combat, while good recoil control helps it maintain accuracy against targets at longer ranges.
Hawk
A sniper rifle with high burst potential
The Hawk is a sniper rifle with a unique firing style. Carrying only two rounds, the Hawk delivers exceptional burst damage with its high rate of fire. Landing both shots in quick succession can instantly take down enemies wearing low-tier armor. The Hawk’s reticle also rises when firing rapidly, creating a recoil-like effect. Mastering the Hawk requires precise shot placement.

Weapon Adjustments
Weapon classes currently lack distinct identities, particularly in terms of mobility and sustained combat capability. To address this, we’re widening the stat differences between classes and reinforcing their individual strengths and weaknesses to give each a clearer role. These changes will arrive with the next CS season on OCT 1, bringing a fresh weapon meta to the battlefield.
SMGs
Shotguns and SMGs will be the most flexible weapon classes in close-range combat. SMGs, in particular, will further embrace their role as agile close-quarters weapons. Their mobility will increase significantly, while their effective range will be reduced, creating a clearer distinction between SMGs and mid-to-long-range weapons.
- MP5/MP5-I/MP5-II/MP5-III (Adjustment): Minimum Damage -15%, Range -20%, Movement Speed +15%, Movement Speed while Firing +25%.
- MAC10/MAC10-I/MAC10-II/MAC10-III (Adjustment): Armor Penetration +5%, Range -15%, Movement Speed +5%, Movement Speed while Firing +25%.
- MP40 (Adjustment): Range -15%, Movement Speed +5%, Movement Speed while Firing +15%.
- P90 (Adjustment): Range -15%, Movement Speed +13%, Movement Speed while Firing +25%.
- Bizon (Buff): Accuracy +10%.
- UMP (Adjustment): Range -8%, Movement Speed while Firing +40%.
- Vector (Adjustment): Range -30%, Movement Speed while Firing +20%.
Shotguns
Shotguns will continue to excel as high-burst weapons in close-range combat. While SMGs emphasize mobility and sustained fire, shotguns reward strong positioning and precise aim, allowing players to capitalize on openings and quickly knock down enemies at close range.
- M1014/M1014-I/M1014-II/M1014-III (Buff): Movement Speed +3%, Movement Speed while Firing +5%.
- M1887/M1887-X (Buff): Range +10%, Reload Speed +10%.
- MAG-7 (Buff): Movement Speed +1%, Movement Speed while Firing +2%.
- M590 (Adjustment): Range -25%, Minimum Damage +120%.
Assault Rifles
Assault rifles are designed to be a well-rounded choice for ranged combat. However, they have been underperforming at long range. In the upcoming patch, we’re improving their accuracy to make them more reliable at a distance while slightly slowing their reloads. This should make the class more consistent across different ranges without allowing them to sustain pressure too easily.
- M4A1/M4A1-I/M4A1-II/M4A1-III (Buff): Armor Penetration +4%, Accuracy +7%.
- SCAR/SCAR-I/SCAR-II/SCAR-III (Buff): Accuracy +10%.
- GROZA/GROZA-X (Buff): Movement Speed while Firing +50%.
- FAMAS (Buff): Range +15%.
- XM8 (Adjustment): Reload Speed +6%, Accuracy -8%.
- AN94 (Adjustment): Armor Penetration +12%, Reload Speed -6%, Accuracy +6%.
- AUG (Buff): Armor Penetration +4%, Accuracy +8%.
- AUG-I/AUG-II/AUG-III (Buff): Accuracy +8%.
- Kingfisher (Buff): Armor Penetration +8%, Reload Speed +8%, Accuracy +21%.
- G36 - Range (Buff): Accuracy +14%.
Sniper Rifles
Sniper rifles will retain their identity as high-damage weapons capable of ending fights. Rather than relying on mobility for quick peeks, they’ll focus more on capitalizing on openings to deal devastating damage. A single well-placed shot will remain one of the greatest threats on the battlefield.
- AWM/AWM-Y (Nerf): Movement Speed & Movement Speed while Firing -8%.
- M82B (Nerf): Movement Speed while Firing -10%.
- M24/M24-I/M24-II/M24-III (Nerf): Movement Speed while Firing -10%.
- VSK94 (Nerf): Movement Speed -15%, Movement Speed while Firing -10%.
- Kar98k (Nerf): Movement Speed & Movement Speed while Firing -8%.
Marksman Rifles
Marksman rifles will continue to offer high accuracy and armor penetration, providing reliable damage at medium and long ranges. Compared to sniper rifles, they offer faster follow-up shots and greater firing flexibility, allowing players to quickly knock down enemies with a series of accurate hits.
- M14/M14-I/M14-II/M14-III (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -5%.
- Winchester/Winchester-I/Winchester-II/Winchester-III (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -7%, Extra Damage to Armor -60%.
- SKS (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -12%.
- SVD/SVD-Y (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -12%.
- Woodpecker (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -12%.
- AC80 (Nerf): Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -17%.
Machine Guns
Machine guns will trade mobility for greater damage and a higher rate of fire. Their large magazines also make them the strongest weapon class for sustained suppressive fire. Damage will now remain the same whether players are standing or crouching, but firing while standing reduces accuracy. By contrast, crouching provides maximum accuracy, allowing players to hold the fire button and maintain reliable suppressive fire.
- M249/M249-X (Adjustment): Damage +30%, Minimum Damage +18%, Armor Penetration +5%, Accuracy -10%, Reload Speed -12%, Movement Speed -10%, Movement Speed while Firing -6%.
- M60/M60-I/M60-II/M60-III (Adjustment): Rate of Fire +25%, Armor Penetration +8%, Magazine Capacity +20% (70 to 85), Accuracy -10%, Reload Speed -10%, Movement Speed -10%, Movement Speed while Firing -4%.
- Kord (Adjustment): Armor Penetration +8%, Magazine Capacity +20% (50 to 60), Reload Speed -10%, Movement Speed -5%, Movement Speed while Firing -9%.
